Community Development Financial Institution

Community Development Financial Institution or CDFI, is a designation awarded to financial institutions. CDFI awarded institutions are provided federal grants to invest in low-income, underserved communities for the purpose of increasing economic revitalization and community development in low-income communities. ULFCU is able to offer customizable and affordable rates, services, and products to our local community thanks to this designation.
