Student Organizations
ULFCU offers Student Organization Accounts to official organizations of UL Lafayette and SLCC.
No monthly service fee
Minimum opening deposit of $10 for savings and $50 minimum deposit for checking account
Organization checking accounts can utilize checks but do not have access to a debit card or overdraft protection options
Whoever is authorized on the account may add or remove other users
This account must be opened in person at a ULFCU Branch. All students and/or advisors authorized to use the account will need to bring the following information and sign documentation during account opening:
$10 minimum deposit for savings account plus a $50 minimum deposit for checking account
Verification of valid organization and officer standing (a letter from the UL Lafayette or SLCC Dean of Students verifying that the organization or society is affiliated with the University and the name of its officers who will be accessing the account)
Valid government-issued driver’s license or ID
Proof of eligibility for membership (Valid University of Louisiana at Lafayette or South Louisiana Community College staff or student ID)
Valid Social Security Number
Valid Tax ID/Employer Identification Number (EIN) for organization
Date of birth
Physical address, email address, and phone number
Proof of Tax Exempt Status, if applicable
