Immediate family members of any of these groups. Immediate family members are spouses, children, siblings, parents, grandparents or grandchildren, or step or adoptive relationships.

Get Started

To become a ULFCU member, you first need to open a regular savings account. With your one-time membership of $5, you begin your ownership into our credit union. As long as your regular savings account remains open, you will be a ULFCU member. Open your regular savings account online, or visit a branch to apply.

You will need:

  • Opening deposit of at least $10 ($5 minimum deposit plus $5 one-time membership fee)

  • Valid government-issued driver’s license or ID

  • Proof of eligibility for membership (Valid University of Louisiana at Lafayette or South Louisiana Community College staff or student ID, if applicable)

  • Valid Social Security Number

  • Date of birth

  • Physical address, email address, and phone number

  • Parent or guardian co-owner (if you’re under 18)

Must qualify for a ULFCU membership to apply for membership. All accounts are subject to approval. Accounts are subject to all terms and conditions set forth in the Account Agreement and Truth-In-Savings Disclosure.
